Vernon Grille - A Mediterranean Sandwich Haven in Long Island City

Honestly best bang for your buck for lunch. Good clean eating Greek food. My favorite place to eat when I’m working cuss this place never leaves me feeling to heavy. Their chicken gyro and regular gyro are great. Both platter and sandwich(Gyro) are great. Good lemon potato’s also. If you’re in the area try it.

I had an awesome lunch at this place, and the food was really amazing! The mozzarella sticks were so good. Same with the chicken souvlaki stick and the pork souvlaki stick.

Came here to eat dinner with my parents as a party of three. Very chill and casual dinning. Was not a big fan of the lighting in terms of ambience but it fits the casual vibe. We split some calamari (absolutely delicious), I ate a chicken gyro pita (tasty and very filling), and my parents split a chicken gyro platter and lentil soup which they devoured so I imagine it was amazing. At the end of dinner we got complementary dessert: 3 little chocolate cakes with some fudge on top, they were hot, moist, and mouthwatering. We also had great service. I would eat here again, it really hit the spot.

I'm just truly disappointed this was my first time having it through Uber Eats. The taste is delicious but halfway thru my gyro I went to put more sauce their was a big piece of hair.

I've never eaten at the restaurant, but this is our go to Greek spot for delivery! In Astoria, we have a lot of Greek options and this one never disappoints. When guests come over, this is the restaurant we trust to impress. Great flavors and platters that let us do family style. Highly recommended!

It was delicious I have no more words to explain how great it was. If you are around don’t hesitate to eat here, food is really good and the service is even better. I got the Grilled Chicken Gyro and Chicken breast pita.

This is probably the best Greek food I've had in NYC , it's very authentic. We got the chicken souvlaki platter and the half chicken . My boyfriend got the salad and I got the lemon chicken soup and for dessert we got the galaktaboureko. Everything was delicious, can't wait to come back and try the pork souvlaki. From the moment we came in we were greeted by who I believe must be the owner, he was super nice. The ambiance is beautiful also. Pardon the not aesthetic pictures but I was so excited to try everything that I totally forgot about snapping a couple of pictures. We'll definitely be back soon.

Always love going here! The gyro is delicious and large portions. My boyfriend and I split gyro platter it comes with soup / salad, side and significant amount of meat easily for two. The service is always incredible, especially Kristina.
